Job summary

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ID seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a busy, well-established team. The role features 8–5 clinic hours, a 36/4 weekly schedule, and a 10-day monthly call with incentives. Expect 15–25 patient visits daily, with 2–3 clinic days and 2 OR/procedure days weekly.

The position requires BE/BC in Gastroenterology, Idaho license/DEA with prescriptive authority, and comfort with acute surgery procedures and endoscopy. ERCP/UES desired but not required.

• Ability to obtain a medical license in Idaho and DEA with full prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Clinic hours are 8–5, Monday to Friday.
• General schedule includes 36 patient care and 4 admin tasks per week.
• Call coverage of 10 days per month with incentive for additional days.
• Average 15–25 patients seen per day.
• Department currently has one physician and will add another after fellowship, plus one APP.
• Clinic 2–3 days per week; OR/procedures about 2 per week.

About the position:

Qualifications:

2. Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority

3. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with acute surgery procedures as well as scopes
