Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group seeks a Board-certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in the western suburbs of Chicago. This full-time, hospital-employed role offers outstanding work-life balance, excellent support, and a highly competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities include general GI with optional advanced procedures, about 8 hours of hospital rounding, a 12-hour endoscopy block, and clinic time.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist.
• IL medical license required or ability to obtain one.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Focus on general GI; advanced procedures optional and supported.
• Schedule includes hospital rounding, endoscopy block, and clinic.
• Clinic volume ~20 patients per session; 6-7 procedures per day.
• Call schedule 1:3; participate in code and call coverage.
