Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Group is seeking three Gastroenterologists to grow a new program in our established group. Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates, some with advanced endoscopy training, are encouraged to apply.

The role includes mentoring, a strong referral base, and opportunities for ASC development. Schedule is Monday–Friday with shared call; Georgia license required; visa sponsorship considered.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• A Georgia medical license is required with full licensure/credentialing support.
• Sponsorship for J-1 or H-1B visas is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology consultations and endoscopic procedures.
• Provide a spectrum of GI services including management of GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal cancer screenings.
• Opportunity to perform advanced endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, polypectomy, dilation, PEG placement) as training/trialed.
• Collaborate with a senior APP and other physicians to grow the program and referrals.
• Mentor Internal Medicine residents during inpatient consult rotations.
