Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, is recruiting a Gastroenterologist to join our growing Digestive Health Institute. The role offers a mix of outpatient clinic and endoscopy services with strong patient volume and a large referral network.

You will work within a collaborative, team-based care model that supports APP involvement, advances in endoscopic procedures, and access to ambulatory surgery center resources. Board-certified or eligible candidates with fellowship training are welcome.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic.
• Endoscopic procedures.
• Collaboration and supervision of APP team members.
• Participation in program growth initiatives.
• Optional advanced inpatient coverage based on expertise and service needs.
