Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, invites a Gastroenterologist to join the Digestive Health Institute. The role supports both general GI and advanced therapeutic endoscopy, with strong patient volumes, a large referral network, and dedicated endoscopy resources.

You will perform outpatient endoscopy and clinic work, collaborate with APPs, participate in program growth, and have optional inpatient coverage. Board-certified/eligible physicians with GI fellowship are welcome; advanced endoscopy

Qualifications

• MD or DO trained in Gastroenterology and Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship training welcomed and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient gastroenterology clinic duties.
• Endoscopic procedures and supported by APP team.
• Collaborate with and supervise APP team members.
• Participation in program growth initiatives and optional inpatient coverage.
