Job summary

USA Health Providence Gastroenterology in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to join a growing academic health system.

Join a team that supports general GI and advanced procedures, with strong patient demand and resources across the Gulf Coast. ERCP and EUS experience is welcomed but not required, and a schedule of 230 working days annually combines clinic and procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
• Commitment to high quality, patient centered care with strong communication and collaborative skills
• Preferred: Experience in general gastroenterology; ERCP/EUS welcomed but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide general GI care and advanced procedures.
• Collaborate with a regional health system and AP providers.
• Utilize Cerner and Athena EMR to document and coordinate care.
• Grow a practice with strong patient demand and referral base.
