Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting presents a Gastroenterologist opportunity in Hobart, IN, offering a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday with a 1:7 call rotation and relocation assistance. The role emphasizes a balanced, tech-forward environment within a premier healthcare provider of Northwest Indiana.

Responsibilities include endoscopic procedures, coordinating chronic GI care, and collaborating with surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30.
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• Call Rotation: 1:7.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions in collaboration with surgical and primary care teams.
