Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established Northwest Indiana healthcare provider in Hobart, IN. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:7 call rotation and relocation assistance.

The hospital emphasizes physician well-being and work-life balance. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of GI/hepatobiliary disorders, perform endoscopic procedures, and coordinate care with surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible with plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30.
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15.
• 1:7 call rotation.
• Perform endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease.
• Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams for integrated treatment plans.
