Albany Medical College is seeking Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology. You will join a growing team that handles a wide range of complex gastroenterology patients from across northeastern New York.

The role includes working in an endoscopy suite with advanced technologies, collaborating with surgeons and specialists, performing endoscopic procedures, teaching students and trainees, and conducting research. A competitive salary with an incentive bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and perform scholarly work.
