Qualifications

• Active NY State Medical License required.
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification required.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient GI services.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for GI patients.
• Perform upper and lower endoscopies (EGD, colonoscopy).
• Perform PEG tube placement and esophageal dilation.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient GI consultations.
• Complete documentation and administrative tasks.
