Job summary

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to provide both inpatient and outpatient care at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical practice, performing endoscopic services, and teaching inpatient care.

Qualifications

• MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency.
• Completed 3 year ACGME US gastroenterology fellowship.
• Completed 1 year of non-ACGME advanced endoscopy fellowship.
• BC/BE Gastroenterology.
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
• Valid DEA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outpatient clinical practice at UHealth locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
• Perform core and non-core endoscopic services to patients.
• Maintain outpatient clinic schedule.
• Rotate on night and weekend call proportionate to other faculty.
• Provide advanced endoscopic call proportionate to other advanced endoscopic physicians.
