Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (ABIM).
• Active California medical license or eligibility.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, including inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, and related interventions).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, primary care providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in call coverage as required.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.

Education
