Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a Bridgeport, West Virginia hospital in recruiting a Gastroenterologist for a hospital-employed role with strong support and work-life balance. The practice offers a consultative GI model with hospitalists and an on-site endoscopy center, imaging, and robust APP support.

The successful candidate will join an academic medical center affiliation with opportunities for grand rounds and lectures, and a schedule typically Monday through Friday 8 am–5 pm.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologists encouraged to apply.
• Shared inpatient call on a 1:6 GI rotation.
• 3 clinic days and 2 procedure days per week.
• APP support staff on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Academic medical center affiliation with optional grand rounds and lecture participation.
• State-of-the-art accredited office endoscopy center and full imaging on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology consultations in outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.
