Job summary

Northwest Community Healthcare seeks a Gastroenterologist in Arlington Heights, IL. The physician will join 8 gastroenterologists and 1 GI hospitalist, with 3 advanced practice providers supporting inpatient coverage.

Full-time (1.0 FTE) with Mon–Fri clinic and procedure days, shared weekend call, and robust specialty care network. The base salary ranges from $318,644 to $678,246 depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology and licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• Current CPR and DEA license or eligible/active specialty life support certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and compassionate patient interaction within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services to assess, diagnose, plan and treat patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
