Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist Opportunity – Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Generous sign-on bonus, retention package, and relocation allowance offered.

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established, busy, and growing practice, with 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage. There is also an opportunity for a faculty appointment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Sign-on bonus/retention package of $100,000 and relocation allowance.
  • Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CME and dues expenses.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Board-certified or eligible gastroenterologist with 4th-year advanced endoscopy training/experience.
  • New or recent graduates, including 2024 advanced endoscopy graduates, are encouraged to apply.

About Danbury Hospital:

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital with 371 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and approximately 70,000 ED visits annually. It is affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. The Medical Group includes over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers serving Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
