Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist with 4th year Advanced Endoscopy training in Norwalk, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established teaching program that is growing and expanding general and advanced GI services. Our team includes eight physicians and two advanced practitioners. There is opportunity for a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a state-of-the-art brand new endoscopy suite. Our Gastroenterology Fellowship is a Yale University School of Medicine level II affiliated, three-year program leading to ABIM certification in Gastroenterology. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County next to Westchester County in New York.

The ideal candidate should be board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology and 4th year trained in Advanced Endoscopy and looking to join a highly collegial team. New or recent graduates are welcome to apply, including 2026 graduates. Position includes a mix of general and advanced cases. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. Part-time schedules will be considered.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
