Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology.

You will join a growing team that handles a wide range of complex GI patients from across northeastern New York. The role involves performing endoscopic procedures, collaborating with surgeons and other specialists, and teaching medical students, residents and fellows while pursuing research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of GI conditions.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and perform scholarly work.

Competitive salary range with incentive bonus opportunity $450,000-$500,000.
