Base pay range

$400,000.00/yr - $500,000.00/yr

A hospital-employed practice in Central Jersey is actively seeking licensed Gastroenterologists to join their growing teams in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday standard business hours
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Call: Typically 6 days/month; any additional call is compensated for
• Setting: Hospital-employed outpatient practice

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of Gastroenterology
• Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments as necessary
• Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Maintaining detailed notes of appointments, comments, tests, treatments, and test results
• Referring patients to other medical specialists when necessary
• Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
• Preparing official health documents or records when necessary
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
