Job summary

Qualifications

Collaboration & Quality

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Biopsy and polypectomy, Hemostasis and dilation, PEG placement
• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Liver disease and hepatitis, Pancreatic disorders, Gastrointestinal bleeding
• Participate in a shared call schedule

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for or active Maine medical license
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification
