Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients
• Cover 24-hour call shifts (7a–7a), including weekends
• Collaborate with 24/7 intensivists, hospitalists, and trauma services in a Level 1 center

• Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Other Qualifications: ERCP & EUS proficiency, Availability for specified dates, Acknowledgment of lodging and EMR training requirements, Local/drive-in preferred, Clean malpractice/background

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and endoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of GI conditions
• Manage and evaluate patients with GI bleeding and other acute gastrointestinal problems
• Provide consultative services for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients in an inpatient setting
• Cover 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) ensuring continuous gastroenterology coverage including weekends
• Collaborate with 24/7 intensivists, hospitalists, and trauma services in a Level 1 Trauma center
