Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama seeks a fellowship-trained GI physician for a full-time hospital-employed position. Enjoy a mix of outpatient visits and advanced endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, HALO, EMR, fecal transplant) with an expected 1/3 call and a 8am–5pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with occasional night/weekend coverage.

The role offers competitive compensation, sign-on and relocation support, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and a flexible model

Qualifications

• Internal medicine residency program completed.
• Gastroenterology fellowship completed.
• Board eligibility or board certification required.
• Unrestricted Alabama physician license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and Alabama DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Procedures: EGDs, Colons, Bravo, ERCP, HALO, EMR, Fecal Transplant.
• Out-patient clinic visits.
• Call schedule 1/3.
• Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some night and weekend coverage.
