Qualifications

Join our esteemed team at White Plains Hospital Physician Associates (WPHPA), a division of White Plains Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Westchester County and a member of Montefiore Health System. We are seeking both General Gastroenterologists and Gastroenterologists with advanced skills, including certification in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and collaborate with other specialists, including our Rheumatologists and Nutritionists. You'll utilize advanced technology and specialty services such as our infusion center, all while ensuring an exceptional patient experience close to home. Salary Information: $550,000 - $750,000

Role responsibilities:

Let your skills shine as a Gastroenterologist.

With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies. Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect to provide both inpatient and at our outpatient practice:

For General Gastroenterologists:

  • Diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Performing routine endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
  • Providing patient education, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance support.

For Gastroenterologists with Advanced Skills:

  • Diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal conditions using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
  • Performing ERCP procedures to address disorders of the bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder.
  • Utilizing EUS examinations to diagnose and stage gastrointestinal tumors and manage pancreatic and biliary disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment plans.

Qualifications:
