Position Overview

Carilion Clinic is seeking a full‑time academic faculty member for our Gastroenterology Division. The position is available in Roanoke and Christiansburg, Virginia.

The role is ideal for individuals with strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic medicine, with expectations to teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The GI Division hosts a fellowship program enrolling four fellows annually and offers clinical and translational research opportunities in collaboration with the Fralin Biomedical Institute at VTC and the main campus of Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg. Faculty members hold an appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine located on our campus.
