  • Manage exposure to the USGC export market, optimizing flows into Latin America and other global destinations.
  • Partner closely with analytics, chartering, scheduling, and commercial operations teams to evaluate blending economics and drive trade decisions.
  • Monitor supply/demand dynamics, spec trends, regulatory developments (EPA, RINs), and regional crack spreads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with refiners, traders, and blenders, driving collaboration across the value chain.
  • Use market data and trading tools to inform forward curves, pricing decisions, and blend optimization models.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

Experience:

  • 5+ years of gasoline trading or blending experience, with strong knowledge of Gulf Coast market structure and specs.
  • Experience trading or optimizing CBOB, RBOB, and blend components (alky, reformate, naphtha, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of product specs, blend economics, and market indices (e.g., Platts, Argus).
  • Exposure to USGC exports and international arbitrage flows.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate multiple variables (price, spec, timing, logistics) and make fast, informed trading decisions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytics tools; familiarity with ETRM systems and blending models a plus.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products suite, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.
  • Build & sustain relationships using appropriate interpersonal skills and communication methods to build constructive relationships with customers, business units, service organizations and other stakeholders to meet shared goals and objectives.
