Job summary

NPL Construction Co. is hiring a Gas Utility Laborer in Fairfax, Virginia. This role includes 1–4 weeks of paid training, where you will learn to handle essential equipment safely and efficiently with hands-on experience under the supervision of a skilled team.

Responsibilities include using hand tools for utility work, maintaining a clean work environment, and loading equipment. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required. Position Overview

Gas Utility Laborer – Receive 1–4 weeks of paid training to develop the essential skills for safe, efficient field work. You will be led by an experienced Foreman, working alongside skilled Equipment Operators and Pipe Fitters, gaining valuable hands‑on experience and on‑the‑job training. In as little as six months, you could qualify for additional paid training to advance your career.

Work Environment

• Work sites are outdoors and may involve extreme weather conditions
• All safety instructions are written and spoken in English; fluency in English is required
• Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Safety requires quick/accurate hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness
