Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Inspector- Stopple (SGL6). This role plans, coordinates, and inspects field work by outside contractors to ensure compliance with company standards during gas mains and service line projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of related gas construction experience or related utility experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect all phases of work performed by contractors to assure conformance with company standards and procedures.
• Plan projects and ensure compliance; may assign and complete work orders in SAP.
• Verify billed amounts and approve contractor/vendor charges.
• Schedule and inspect work performed by one or more contract crews.
• Perform stopple work for all states.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
