Job summary

New England Utility Constructors Inc. (NEUCO) in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Lead Laborer to join our team. You will perform general labor tasks such as excavating, trenching, and shoring while assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily crew activities around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating crew tasks, submitting daily activity reports, and ensuring safety and quality in all operations. Must have 2+ years in gas utility and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in gas utility industry.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Ability to interpret plans/blueprints.
• Fluency in English and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist to plan, coordinate, and supervise all crew personnel on daily job tasks.
• Accurately submit daily reports outlining daily job activities in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing work sequences to meet customer schedules.
• Comply with industry and customer operating procedures while ensuring safety and quality.
• Step in to lead crew in Foreman's absence to remain operational.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
