Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC in Wilmington, NC is seeking a SEC - Mini-Excavator Operator to perform construction and maintenance on gas distribution lines and underground utilities. You will operate equipment including backhoe, excavator, plow, trencher or bore machines under the supervision of a foreman.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of operating experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to obtain a CDL, gas construction experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of operating experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL.
• Gas construction experience.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe, excavator, plows, trenchers or bore machines for underground utilities.
• Load materials or equipment for transport and secure at the job site.
• Install, maintain and remove underground utilities as directed.
• Secure work site and public safety at end of shift.
