Job summary

Agilis Engineering, Inc. seeks Structural Engineer at all levels to tackle gas turbine and machinery challenges across multiple sites including SC and FL.

You will perform design reviews, stress analyses, CAD drawings, and interface with cross-functional teams to optimize engine performance. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years in gas turbine engineering, with proficiency in ANSYS and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering or a similar technical field.
• Thorough knowledge of advanced engineering methods, tools and procedures.
• Proficiency with ANSYS FEM software and CAD tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills across all levels of management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing design projects and reviews.
• Conduct stress analyses in detail per program requirements and QMS.
• Interface with design and other functional discipline team members.
• Deliver documentation with critical analysis and innovative solutions.
• Develop CAD project drawings.
• Implement engineering principles in structural analysis.
• Participate in customer reviews as requested.
• Identify root problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Understand and meet schedule, budget, and deliverable expectations.
• Collaborate with team members including program management and technical leads to optimize engine performance.
