Job description

EthosEnergy is looking for a 2nd Shift Gas Turbine Mechanic Trainee to join our Houston, TX team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and wants to build a career in industrial gas turbine repair. In this role, you will learn how to disassemble, inspect, measure, repair, and assemble gas turbine rotor components while working alongside experienced rotor mechanics. You will gain practical experience with precision measurement, blueprint interpretation, rotor stack assembly, mechanical troubleshooting, rigging practices, quality control procedures, and turbine component identification. Through a structured training path, you will develop the skills needed to support maintenance and overhaul work on General Electric (GE) and Siemens Westinghouse industrial gas turbine rotors while meeting safety, quality, and customer requirements. We are seeking candidates with mechanical aptitude, a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning specialized turbine repair techniques. Successful trainees who complete the program and demonstrate the required competencies may advance into a Gas Turbine Rotor Mechanic role. Technical school, vocational training, or coursework in industrial maintenance, machining, mechanical technology, or a related field is preferred.
