Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an experienced MRO Engine Mechanic to disassemble, repair, and reassemble gas turbine engines and components. You will help restore engines to peak performance by repairing and fabricating parts, replacing worn components, and ensuring all work meets exact quality and safety standards.

Working on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:30a-2:00p), you will follow precise procedures, use gauges and tooling, and document all steps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience using precision tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to tackle challenges.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble gas turbine engines for optimal performance.
• Repair and fabricate engine parts and tooling using techniques such as sanding, blasting, deburring, and brazing.
• Replace worn or damaged components using precision tools and gauges.
• Ensure parts meet exact tolerances and quality standards throughout the repair process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engine module discrepancies with strong attention to detail.
• Verify tooling is properly calibrated before use.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
