Job summary

PG&E's Gas Operations division seeks a design-focused engineer to develop gas transmission facility assets across the PG&E system, including compressor stations, terminals, storage stations, and metering and regulation stations. Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and PG&E Gas Standards is critical to ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards.

Construct drawings are prepared and issued for construction by the Plant Project Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid California driver's license or ability to obtain on start date.
• Experience with design drafting and relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design gas transmission facilities across the PG&E system (compressor stations, terminals, storage, metering).
• Develop construction drawings approved for construction by the Plant Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with Transmission System Planning, Project Management, Engineering & Estimating, Gas Distribution, M&C, GPOM and Construction.
• Ensure compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and PG&E Gas Standards.
