DDS Companies in West Henrietta, NY is hiring a Gas Technician-Gas Distribution to support safe and efficient natural gas distribution across residential and commercial sites.

Responsibilities include site work, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Travel up to 75% with flexible hours; CDL may be preferred. A High School Diploma or vocational training plus 2–4 years of construction labor experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work.
• Valid Driver's License and/or CDL preferred.
• Able to lift at least 100 lbs and travel up to 75% of time.

Responsabilités

• Work safely and efficiently on daily tasks.
• Operate around natural gas distribution sites incl. public/private properties.
• Maintain and secure company equipment and materials.
• Follow instructions and guidelines precisely.
• Operate a backhoe or similar equipment as required.

Pay Range

Gas Technician-Gas Distribution Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $22.00-$30.00 per hour. Subject to prevailing wage. This range represents the expected hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work safely and efficiently while performing daily assigned tasks.
• Work in and around natural gas distribution job sites including public right of ways, private property, commercial and residential properties.
• Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and guidelines.
• Able to operate a backhoe or smaller type of equipment as required.

Skills and Experience

Required:

• Ability to pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work.
• Valid Driver's License and/or CDL preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of time, with flexible hours inclusive of weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field.
• 2 - 4 years Construction Laborer experience.
• Mechanically inclined.
