Job summary

DDS Companies is seeking a skilled Pipefitter/Foreman-Gas Distribution to lead a crew on natural gas infrastructure projects. You will oversee Laborers and Operators, ensure safe operating practices, and manage coordination with subcontractors on residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Ability to pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work.
• Experience with layouts, elevations, and ordering materials for site work projects.
• Exposure to both residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to pass a post offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Foreman-Gas Distribution

Pay Range: $35-45/hr subject to Prevailing Wage

This range represents the expected hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.

As a Pipefitter, you will play a vital role in piping residential and commercial natural gas services, securing the flow from meter to existing fuel lines, and ensuring the safe operation of customer appliances.

Responsibilities

The Foreman-Gas Distribution role will oversee the day-to-day work of Laborers and Operators working on natural gas infrastructure projects. Responsible for monitoring daily production rates, reporting hours and supervising subcontractors while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Skills and Experience

Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity
• Ability to pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work
• Must have experience with layouts, elevations, ordering materials for site work projects
• Exposure to both residential and commercial projects

• Skilled operating a variety of construction equipment
