Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Mechanical Engineering graduates for our Virginia Beach, VA office on the Natural Gas team. This is not a remote position and you will work on a variety of projects including pipeline design, metering stations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates should have an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree by Summer 2027 and be prepared to contribute to design, analysis, and compliance activities within our multidisciplinary team in Virginia Beach.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree required by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Use technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Solve complex problems and assist project managers across disciplines to deliver client visions.
• Develop familiarity with applicable regulations, procedures, and standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting project managers.
