Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Technician to inspect gas lines, detect leaks, and report findings to the local gas company. You will drive a company vehicle, travel up to 75% of the time, and conduct surveys on foot across various terrains in all weather.

This role requires troubleshooting field technology, complying with safety and quality policies, and delivering courteous customer service while observing company procedures.

Qualifications

Must be flexible to travel up to 75% of the time, including occasional weekends.
Able to fly or drive anywhere in the U.S.
Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot technology
Ability to drive in all-weather conditions
Must learn training material in classroom and/or online formats and pass all qualification tests
Able to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk several miles per day
Able to carry a minimum of 20 lbs. of equipment
Able to communicate effectively and courteously with customers
Available for overtime, which may include weekends
Comfortable using computers/technology
Reliable personal vehicle may be required during the 4-5 week training period
