Job summary

Utility Pipeline Ltd. in Ohio is seeking a Gas Supply Manager to oversee short and long-term gas supply needs for multiple utilities and customers.

You will lead procurement strategy, manage relationships with marketers, producers, pipelines, and storage teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective gas supplies. The role requires 5+ years in gas procurement or energy markets, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in natural gas procurement, operations, energy markets, or a related utility industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing supply portfolios and supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of natural gas markets, pipelines, storage, and supply planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead gas procurement and accounting teams to meet monthly and seasonal needs.
• Develop gas purchasing strategies based on market forecasts.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure best options.
• Oversee gas scheduling, nominations, and supplier relationships.
• Forecast demand, analyze usage data, and support contingency planning.
• Collaborate with Operations and Business Development on growth projects.
