Job summary

Utility Pipeline Ltd. is seeking a Gas Supply Analyst in Canton, Ohio.

The role supports short and long-term gas supply needs for multiple utilities and customers, collaborating with marketers, local producers, and interstate pipelines to procure gas at fair market prices. The Gas Supply Analyst will participate in procurement, forecasting, transportation, and management of natural gas supplies, contributing to growth and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in natural gas/energy industry or procurement.
• Experience with large datasets and advanced Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with natural gas supply purchases during bid week using NYMEX and IFERC indices.
• Analyze historical usage data to prepare bid/renewal spreadsheets for gas marketers.
• Forecast monthly gas volumes for gas marketers.
• Prepare, approve, and track gas purchase transaction confirmations.
• Maintain and update pipeline, storage, and marketer agreements.
