Xcel Energy in Saint Paul, MN is hiring one or more Gas Street Apprentices to join the Gas Operations team. These roles support installation, repair, and maintenance of the gas distribution system and require ability to read maps and procedures.

The position involves coordinating multiple work activities, reacting to gas emergencies, and complying with safety and DOT requirements. A Class A CDL and experience with heavy construction equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand distribution maps, design drawings, procedures, and related materials.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple work activities effectively.
• DOT/Drug & Alcohol testing compliance and respirator qualification required.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment is preferred.
