Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep our store shelves full and organized, delivering friendly service and accurate product placement.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and keep areas clean and safe while coordinating with leadership to meet deadlines.

This role offers weekly pay, a team-oriented environment, and opportunities to grow within a family-owned company that values community and career development.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
