Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers receive friendly service. This entry-level role supports merchandising and everyday store operations.

You will stock, move pallets, backstock, keep areas clean, and collaborate with leadership. Training is provided; Meijer Rewards include weekly pay, education assistance, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn basic technology and operate simple systems.
• Follow established processes and work efficiently.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team toward common goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
