Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery items, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage backstock, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while working with leadership to meet deadlines. This entry-level role focuses on teamwork, reliability, and customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic technology and follow processes.
• Organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
