Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and keep shelves stocked and organized. You’ll handle product placement, back-room upkeep, and customer interactions while supporting store readiness with overnight shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to store procedures in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to learn product information and share it with customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
