Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and customers have a seamless shopping experience. You will handle product placement, restocking, and back-room organization with a focus on accuracy and speed.

You will work as part of a team, delivering friendly service and maintaining safety and cleanliness across assigned areas. This entry level role may involve overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Entry level role in retail with customer service and merchandising tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
