Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is hiring a Stocking Clerk in Grand Rapids to ensure shelves are fully stocked and merchandised for customers. You will support store operations with efficient stocking, back-room organization, and proactive assistance to teammates, contributing to a smooth shopping experience.

Ideal candidates bring basic tech skills, teamwork, and physical stamina for lifting and moving items. Overnight shifts may be required to prepare the store for the day ahead, with opportunities for

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
