Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry‑level Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and customers served with a friendly attitude. The role involves merchandising, product knowledge, and efficient service in a grocery environment.

You’ll stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and assist in back‑room organization while collaborating with leadership to meet daily goals. Overnight shifts are available to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Stock shelves with a variety of products and maintain orderly back‑rooms.
• Provide friendly customer service and accurate product knowledge.
• Follow store procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back‑room areas.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
