The Jubitz-Corporation gas station in Portland, OR is hiring as a Fuel Station Attendant. You will safely fuel gasoline and diesel vehicles, dispense propane, and deliver friendly customer service while maintaining station cleanliness and safety.

You will also assist the convenience store staff, handle cash transactions, stock displays, and complete additional duties as directed by management. This is a full-time, overnight position with a strong focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months fueling experience preferred.
• At least six months cash-handling experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work under pressure and fuel multiple vehicles simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
• Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Fuel passenger vehicles with gasoline and diesel.

Description

Responsible for safely and efficiently fueling passenger vehicles with gasoline and diesel, dispensing propane, and providing exceptional customer service. Maintains cleanliness and safety protocols at the gas station and propane area, as well as surrounding parking lot. This role additionally works in close partnership with the convenience store staff, assisting in store when not performing tasks at the gas islands. This will involve handling cash transactions with accuracy, assisting with merchandise stock and display. Duties also include completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

• Wage: $17.25 - $17.75, depending on experience
• Schedule: Overnight(Full-Time)
• Work Status: Full-Time

This position functions primarily outside at our gas station pumps. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold and hot weather. The employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time, operate a cash register, and communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with a two-way radio.
