Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep our store shelves stocked and inviting. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and dispose of cardboard in back-room areas, while collaborating with leadership to meet daily goals.

You'll provide friendly customer interactions, assist with merchandising, and support overnight preparation so our store opens ready for customers. This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to store procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry level role in retail operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with basic technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
