Job summary

Stabilus Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Application Engineer to develop application solutions and deliverables for meeting customer requirements and profitability goals in the assigned customer base.

Based in Sterling Heights, you will work as the technical representative for Stabilus NA Automotive, planning milestones, driving cost-efficient solutions, and providing launch support to manufacturing facilities. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years automotive experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years automotive product or application design experience.
• Experience with Tier 1 or OEM a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to plan and meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Technical representative for Stabilus NA Automotive business unit ensuring deliverables meet requirements.
• Plan and execute application development milestones to deliver technical outputs on time.
• Introduce fully verified products designed for manufacture into the P2 organization.
• Develop application and product solutions to support new business growth and profitability.
• Provide launch and manufacturing support to customer facilities.
