Stabilus is seeking an Engineer for application development of Automotive Gas Springs in Sterling Heights, MI. You will develop technical solutions to meet customer specs, support new business growth, and ensure APQP deliverables are on time and compliant with IATF 16949 guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 0–3 years in product or application engineering, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in mechanical engineering and related discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Ability to analyze problems, think critically, and apply engineering methods.

Responsabilités

• Develop application and product solutions to support new business growth.
• Represent Stabilus technically to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Plan and execute application development milestones and APQP deliverables.
• Develop solutions to minimize cost and maximize profitability.
• Provide launch and manufacturing support to customer facilities.
